What’s New?

You read that right! Starting with the release of 3.5, all Scent Capsule inventory limits will increase from 2 to 3. Get out there and pop those Scents!

Crichtonsaurus Scelidosaurus

3.5 brings an ankylosaurid named after Jurassic Park’s author, its hybrid, and more to JWA!

What’s Improved?


Yutyrannus’ On-Escape ability hasn’t hit the mark: we are swapping it for something more reliable. With this change, we will closely follow Yutyrannus’ performance and adjust if needed.


  • Critical Escape (Level 16) becomes Collision (Level 16)


This cunning creature was getting lost in the cunning crowd. We gave Troodon a more distinctive flavor.


  • Cunning Strike becomes Crafty Strike.
  • Rampage becomes Cautious Cunning Rampage.
  • Swap In Nullification added.


  • Critical Change: 5% to 15%


  • Speed Reduction Resistance: 0% to 50%



The Legendary Edaphocevia needed a bump to suit its vengeful personality.


  • Defense Shattering Rampage becomes Group Revenge Shattering Rampage.


  • Damage: 1000 to 1250
  • Health: 4200 to 4400


  • Speed Reduction Resistance: 50% to 75%


Jurassic World’s terror birds have been stalking the plains for a while. This legendary predator needed a boost to keep its beak sharp.


  • Cunning Strike becomes Devious Strike.
  • Raking Claws becomes Foul Raking Claws.
  • Rampage and Run becomes Disarming Decimate and Run.
  • Evasive Stance becomes Instant Buff.
  • Minor Critical Counter added.


  • Critical Chance: 10% to 30%
  • Critical Damage: 125% to 150%


  • Critical Chance Reduction: 0% to 50%
  • Swap Prevention Resistance: 67% to 75%


Parasaurolophus lux

This luminescent healer needed a glow-up!


  • Group Cleansing Strike becomes Bulwark.
  • Lesser Group Heal becomes Precise Decelerating Rampage.
  • Resilient Rampage becomes Resilient Group Rampage.
  • Counter Power Heal becomes Minor Healing Counter.
  • Swap In Resilient Strike added.


  • Damage: 1250 to 1400
  • Armor: 0% to 15%


  • Stun Resistance: 0% to 75%
  • Swap Prevention Resistance: 0% to 75%
  • Vulnerability Resistance: 0% to 100%



Albertospinos’ recent rebalance didn’t move the needle. We’re giving this unique hybrid a more significant adjustment, including some ability modifications, to bring it back to the fray.

Hydro Boa

Hydra Boa needed to shed some skin to shine a little more in the current meta.


  • Precise Impact becomes Precise Distracting Impact.
  • Slippery Alert updated (see Ability Updates.)
  • Fable Fangs: Delay now 0.


  • Damage: 1350 to 1450


  • Speed Decrease Resistance: 50% to 100%




In boosting Iguanodon’s vitality, we accidentally provided the wrong stats in our previous communication. Here’s the intended adjustment below.


  • Health: 4350 to 4500

Killer Instinct

Killer Instinct Delay has been removed.


Minor Critical Counter 

Minor Critical Counter now increases Critical Chance by 30% for 3 turns, 3 attacks, up from 10% for 3 turns, 3 attacks.


Slippery Alert

Slippery Alert now inflicts 33% Affliction for 2 turns when Secure.

What’s Fixed?

Some pesky bugs have been squashed for 3.5! Here are a few of the most notable fixes that you are likely to enjoy:

  • Giganyx and Ardontohnathus’ ability icons should now displayed properly.
  • The markers put on your dinosaurs in the Lab should now properly save and preset upon relaunching the app.
  • Changing your GPS tracking settings won’t cause the Campaign nor the Isla Event menu to appear on the Map anymore.
  • Changing your GPS tracking settings will now properly refresh the tracked dinosaurs on the Map.
  • Sinraptor’s Afflicting Lockdown On Escape will not appear on its ability list if the skill hasn’t been unlocked.
  • Geminideus’ Enhancement costs are the same as other Apexes.
