Release 3.13: The Cerulean Update!
Update 3.13 brings new dinosaurs, ability updates, feature improvements and more to Jurassic World Alive!
What’s New?
3 New Dinosaurs will be available at launch!
AURORNITHOLESTES – COMMON
Unlike its larger raptor cousins, this swift hunter relies primarily on its speed to both hunt and evade opponents, able to quickly weave through dense foliage with near-silent footsteps!
Find DNA of this iconic COMMON dinosaur on the map at all times in Zone 4 as of May 7!
SAUROLYTH – EPIC
Saurolyth uses its iridescent feathers to communicate: shifting its posture and fluffing out its plumage to signal dominance, warnings, or cooperative intent.
Create EPIC Saurolyth by fusing Rare Purrolyth DNA with Common Saurornitholestes DNA!
CERANOSAURUS – APEX
Like modern day elephants, Ceranosaurus can signal between groups with infrasound and seismic vibration, detecting vibrations through their sensitive foot pads and the unique shape of their cerulean cranial crest!
Create APEX Ceranosaurus by fusing Legendary Rebel DNA with Unique Skoonasaurus DNA!
Each continent now features 5 distinct GPSless locations distributed across each region. Players will be redistributed to new locations, and the location they’re visiting may change occasionally.
This change was made to reduce overcrowding, which has been causing some issues with Raids and Supply Drops. By spreading players out more evenly, we’re aiming to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience. You’ll still find all the content you love—just with better performance and less chaos. Dive in and explore the new spots!
What’s Improved?
Do you ever debate if you have enough time to redistribute your Stat points on Omega creatures? Well, you can now edit individual Omega stat points without having to reset them all, making it easier to fine-tune your build! This gives you more control and flexibility when making small adjustments. No more full resets for minor tweaks—just unlock, adjust, and get back to the action!
Dilozorion
Dilozorion wasn’t quite cunning enough to play like an Apex should in the Arenas. Fortunately, this dino didn’t need a lot of changes to really put it au goût du jour, so to speak. We’ve put the Cunning back into Group Wily Strike: it will now reduce both damage and critical chance for one turn. We’ve also removed this ability’s shield, and replaced Swap in Invincibility with Swap In Weakening Dodge. Dilorozion also gets a bit of a Speed buff, allowing it to act faster. If you liked the Dilozorion before, you’ll love it now.
Abilities:
- Group Wily Strike modified.
- Swap in Invincibility becomes Swap In Weakening Dodge
Attributes:
- Speed: 127 to 130.
Megalocevia
Since its release, Megalocevia has been a pretty decent revenge attacker, but has never been that popular to battle with. What, you don’t like me?… We started this rework by doing some changes to make the kit more consistent with its role as an avenger: we removed the Swap in Ability, and replaced it with Impact on Escape. We also modified its two Revenge abilities to give them each a different flavor, offering different ways to serve up your revenge!
Abilities:
- Revenge Instinct modified.
- Precise Revenge modified.
- Swap In Devour Strike removed.
- Impact On Escape added.
Resistances:
- Vulnerability: 75% to 50%
- Stun: 100% to 75%
- Swap Prevention: 0% to 50%

What’s Fixed?
The team has been hard at work focusing on some outstanding bugs. Here are a few of the most notable fixes for 3.13!
- In PvP Battles and Brawl, players should now see their dinosaurs’ On Escape abilities trigger properly when being forced to swap with another member of the team.
- Players signing in with Facebook from a guest account should now be able to correctly progress on the loading screen.
We’re currently working on solutions for the following issues:
- Players occasionally cannot progress beyond 9/30 on the loading screen.
- Battle Pass notifications sometimes remain even when items have been collected.
- During Strike Towers, the game might incorrectly display the number of defeats required to complete the event.
- Friendly challenges cannot be started.
- When scrolling through the list of eligible creatures in the Team Select screen, the last row of dinos is sometimes cut off.
- Raid invitations are sometimes not received.
- In battle, the damage preview of an ability might display the “Secure” ability info even if the dino is in its “Threatened” state.
- Trying to collect the rewards from several missions in very quick succession can cause a soft lock.
A note on data collecting:
We’d like to take a moment and thank everyone who has been participating in our numerous surveys and providing us with constructive feedback on our forums and social channels. We believe in player feedback and although changes rarely occur immediately, the very tangible data we collect, especially from our surveys, help guide us on our roadmaps and future optimizations.
