Release 3.20: The Explorer Update
The biggest update this Summer, get ready to discover new dinosaurs, features and more!
What’s New?
Travel Hub
Escape the barriers of your physical location to go on a trip with the new Travel Hub!
Available to all players, the new Travel Hub feature takes you to one of over 40 select cities all around the world. While travelling, all regular activities are available: You can spin supply drops in Paris, dart dinosaurs in Delhi, or crush a strike tower in Toronto. All activities on the map appear as they would if you were really there, though the rewards are slightly reduced (those drones have to fly a long way back to you, after all). Most importantly, this allows access to continental exclusive dinosaurs for all players, everywhere in the world!
Every two days the current zone in the Travel Hub will rotate, allowing you to see all the dinosaurs a city has to offer over the course of eight days. After sixteen days (i.e. after seeing each zone twice), your location will rotate to a new city on a different continent. If you feel impatient, you can skip the wait and immediately trigger a rotation with Cash.
The new Travel Hub is replacing the existing GPS-less mode for players without GPS, giving more variety and activities than before. You can happily experience all that JWA has to offer in just this mode, so take a trip and collect some of that rare DNA from around the globe!
A New Raid is Coming Soon
Get ready to face a colossal new challenge in the Arena!
The Legendary, non-hybrid Paralititan is officially joining the Raid roster, and will be here to stay! Coming later this month, this Raid-exclusive dinosaur will be available to battle twice every week, forever! Offering a permanent opportunity to collect its powerful DNA. Rally your Alliance and get ready to take down the titan!
SHANTROSPINOS – APEX

This striped hadrosaur is known to be incredibly adaptive and can slowly shift colours in order to blend in better with the environment around it. It can even charge at predators and wound them severely with its spikes, which makes it a terrifying opponent to face!
Create Shantrospinos by combining Shantunrax and Albertospinos DNA!
COELOPHYSIS – COMMON

Small but feisty, this bipedal theropod uses numbers in order to overwhelm its prey. In turn, they use their speed to strike their opponent and scatter before they can get hit in return. This hypnotic choreographed attack is enough to discourage any larger opponents from coming anywhere near!
COELOTATOR – EPIC

Combining the Diplotator’s savaging claws with Coelophysis’ deadly pack mentality, Coelotators recognize each other while hunting using their coloring patterns. By keeping track of one another like this they are able to bring down impressive prey for their size through sheer relentlessness and cunning.
Use Coelophysis and Diplotator DNA to create this new dinosaur!
What’s Updated?
Both Becklejara and Becklerizaurus have been dominant since their release, and with our latest balancing pass, those two ended up being the ultimate picks for your arena team. While we intend to keep their power high, we want to bring them closer to the rest of the pack, so it opens up more viable options to fight them off. With the set of changes done, we now aim to continue our work on updating existing dinos to bring more diversity. We will keep a close eye on the impact of all the latest changes and will adjust if needed.

Growth Guide
An improvement to the Growth Guide: There was an objective that required players to use the Creature Tracker, which was not available to GPS-less players. This has been replaced with a new objective that can be completed in the Travel Hub, opening it up to all players as intended.
Shop Improvements
The shop has received a fresh coat of paint! We’ve focused on updating the overall look as well as accessibility by improving readability of text. In addition to the visual upgrade, the underlying tech for the store page has seen a lot of work to improve performance.

A note on data collecting:
We’d like to take a moment and thank everyone who has been participating in our numerous surveys and providing us with constructive feedback on our forums and social channels. We believe in player feedback and although changes rarely occur immediately, the very tangible data we collect, especially from our surveys, help guide us on our roadmaps and future optimizations.
