Spelling Bee Chase Compensation + Chase Tap Issues (UPDATED)

Hey DPG members,

We just wanted to inform you all that we’ve identified the cause of the issue and will have a fix for it with our next major update.

In the meantime — after further testing, we can confirm that only the first Treasure Chase box will be difficult to open. In other words, tapping the box may take several seconds for the game to register before claiming the reward.

Please also note your mileage may vary depending on your device’s specs (i.e., older devices would have a longer delay).

After collecting from the first box, the remaining boxes should reward Coins as usual without delay.

All cases have shown the reward is provided, and there should be no instances of missed Coins.

We once more apologize for any inconvenience experienced and appreciate your patience with us throughout the matter.

Hey DPG members,

We are aware of the Spelling Bee Treasure Chase that appeared on 2023-09-03 did not reward the full amount of Coins.

To compensate, an additional standard Treasure Chase rewarding the standard full Coin amount will be scheduled to appear between 2023-09-09 11:00 AM ET to 2023-09-10 11:00 AM ET. Then, the regular scheduled chase will appear right after 2023-09-10 11:00 AM ET.

Our team is extensively investigating why players are forced to tap on Treasure Chases multiple times before they open (as mentioned in our Known Issues post). This seems to occur globally for all our Treasure Chase events.

We currently do not have an ETA on a fix, but we’re prioritizing this issue.

We can confirm that the Treasure Chases eventually open after tapping; they take repeated attempts and a bit of patience.
