Hello – Battle team here!

We have exciting news to share with you! The team has been hard at work buffing some of our most popular Apex Dinosaurs ahead of the July Seasonal Event, and we’re calling this initiative The Apex Rebirth! Furthermore, all 4 of these Apex Dinos will be added to the last Brawl Events which take place on July 7th and 8th.

We have also made modifications to Becklolyth and Titanosaurus.

All of the below changes will be active as of July 2nd, 2025.

APEX REBIRTH

Geminideus

 

First on the lineup today is the Apex Long Neck, Geminideus. Having been around for quite some time, its lack of passive abilities hurt its ability to compete in combat against newer Apex dinos. We are addressing that today by giving it a Swap In and an On Escape ability. We’re also tweaking its resistances a little bit, for extra consistency with its moveset. Expect a tougher long neck, to be sure!

Abilities:

  • Swap In Resilient Dominance added

  • Group Invincibility On Escape added

Resistances:

  • Crit Reduction: 100% to 75%
  • Rend: 0% to 25%

Ankylos Lux

 

Another Resilient Apex getting a rework, Ankylos Lux was lacking resistances so we improved those. We then changed or reworked several abilities. For example, we changed Hostile Glow to a threshold ability with a threatened state at 50% Health. We also improved its Health and Damage attributes. Let there be light in the arena!

 

Abilities:

  • Superior Vulnerability becomes Group Accelerate Cunning Strike

 

  • Hostile Glow modified
    • Ability now has a Threatened state when below 50% Health
    • While Threatened, Cleanse Reduced Damage becomes Cleanse All Negative Effects
    • While Threatened, Shield lasts 2 turns 4 attacks, up from 2 turns 2 attacks.
    • While Threatened, ability now Heals 1x the Damage Attribute.

  • Resilient Shielded Rampage And Run modified
    • Destroy Shields added
    • Shield now lasts 1 turn 2 attacks, up from 1 turn 1 attack.

 

  • Raking Counter-Attack becomes Ferocious Counter Healing Strike

 

  • Group Invincibility On Escape becomes On Escape Dust Cloud

 

Attributes:

  • Health: 4200 to 4500
  • Damage: 1100 to 1300

 

Resistances:

  • Rend: 0% to 25%
  • Speed Decrease: 50% to 100%
  • Stun: 0% to 75%

Indolycan

 

Next up is the ferocious canine, Indolycan. We removed its Counter ability, and changed the On Escape, so these abilities no longer interfere with Cloak of Rage. That ability is also getting a rework, while we are adding Howling Rampage to its arsenal. With these changes, this beast is ready to fight against the newest creatures, and it’s hungry like a real wolf.

 

Abilities:

 

  • Distracting Devour Impact modified
    • Cooldown reduced to 2 from 3

 

  • Evasive Ferocious Rampage becomes Howling Rampage

 

  • Cloak of Rage modified.
    • Now Act Last
    • Team Speed Increase upped to 25%, from 10%

 

  • Challenging Howl On Escape becomes Disarming Lockdown On Escape
  • Minor Precise Counter removed.

Indonemys

 

The final Apex getting changed for the Rebirth initiative is another one from the Indominus lineage, Indonemys. For its abilities, its first ability is now Shielded Heavy Strike and Debilitating Rampage and Run is getting reworked. Its Health and Damage attributes are getting a significant increase, as well as its resistances. Better watch out for this prowling predator!

 

Abilities:

 

  • Lesser Fierce Decelerating Strike becomes Shielded Heavy Strike

 

  • Debilitating Rampage And Run modified
    • Reduced Damage now 50%, down from 100%
    • Destroy Shield added.
    • Damage now bypasses armor.

 

Attributes:

  • Health: 4500 to 4800
  • Damage: 1550 to 1650

 

Resistances:

  • Affliction: 0% to 50%
  • Reduced Damage: 25% to 50%
  • Speed Decrease: 75% to 100%

SEASONAL CREATURE REBALANCING

Becklolyth

 

We have decided to do some much needed changes to the Legendary Becklolyth that came out recently. As a lot of you noticed, Becklolyth was very strong out of the gate, so much so that it was taking down many opponents in the game without breaking a sweat. Don’t worry, it remains a very strong hybrid to have on your teams. We just want to ensure that it is possible to counter it and that it battles as expected against its competition.

 

Abilities:

 

  • Counter Infected Bite modified
    • Damage reduced to 0.5x, from 1x

 

Attributes:

  • Damage: 1600 to 1500
  • Critical Damage: 150% to 135%

 

Resistances:

  • Critical Chance Reduction: 75% to 50%

Titanosaurus

 

When it was released a few weeks ago, the Titanosaurus contained a bug to its Tail Whip ability. It was planned as a Rampage ability, not an impact. We’re taking the opportunity now to fix that!

 

Abilities:

 

  • Tail Whip
    • Damage now 2x, as it was intended, up from 1.5x
