To our JWA Community,

We meet again – another October, another Community Letter!

2024 has seen some great features come through the game, new dinosaurs, and lots of your feedback. We sat down with the game team to look through that feedback and comments you’ve been sharing, and want to answer what we can, and share some of our own news as well.

WHERE IS BRAWL?!

Much like binge watching a new show, having to wait for the next season can feel like an impossible task.

As we closed out Season 1 of Brawl, we asked for your feedback. Over 7000 of you replied, and we’ve been combing through the responses AHEAD of launching Season 2. We heard you on matchmaking and the limited creature selection . We knew we couldn’t kick off Season 2 unless we worked on that feedback.

The good news is that the wait is almost over. We can confirm that Season 2 of Brawl will be kicking off in late October. Stay tuned for many more announcements of Brawl to come.

What’s with the repetitive Isla Events?

Why are some creatures exclusive?

With over 350 dinosaurs, hybrids, and more to collect, level up and fuse, we started to realize that the collection experience was becoming overwhelming.

Moving forward, Isla Events, Strike Events and some other events will have guaranteed Exclusive DNA, allowing players of all levels the opportunity to unlock, level up and grow their teams.

Indeed, we will continue to have special events on a regular basis that will reward Event DNA, limited resources and more.

As of October, we will be communicating within the weekly calendar which Isla Events will have special in-game rewards, giving you the opportunity to plan your play time appropriately.

And for something new…

Something we’re excited to debut is a new type of event! As of October, we’ll be debuting the Spotlight Strike event.

We’ve read feedback about too many dinosaurs launching at once and having trouble focusing on a handful to dedicate time and resources.

Our goal with the new Spotlight event is a new avenue for players to encounter, and see what these new creatures have to offer. Players will have to face new dinosaurs, getting to try out different battle combos to take these behemoths down.

Note that for its debut, in-game rewards WILL NOT contain the Spotlight Dinosaur’s DNA, but anything is possible.

Why did you change the stats on my team?

Adjusting the stats on our dinosaurs and creatures is never something we take lightly. However, balancing the meta for over 350 battle opponents can become tricky, and sometimes we’re left with no choice but to clamp down on stats and abilities.

As new dinosaurs and creatures are released, we will continue to adjust the stats to ensure that teams remain attractive and competitive. We appreciate the feedback about our in-between-updates rebalancing, and will keep this in mind for the future!

And stay tuned for a NEW shake up to the meta coming for the end of the year.

The Omega Raid is so much harder!

In full transparency, the Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus raid was released with a bug, which made the difficulty level much lower than our original design intention. However, the good news is that we’ve been monitoring the engagement with the raid and can confirm that the community is doing a great job with new strategies.The team that we’ve been seeing having a great success rate is:

The other good news we have to share on the friends list issue. The team has been hard at work and are VERY pleased to share a bug fix for many players’ Friends lists which have not been working for a while.

Speaking of bugs, we can confirm that the team is VERY focused on Quality of Life improvements and outstanding bugs. We have been following up on issues identified by the community, through tickets and our own experiences. Bug tackling is a high priority topic that the team is eager to tackle, to continue bringing you an exceptional game experience. Please continue to send in reports!
